I then, with your direction, start a property search on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS), and schedule access to view appropriate houses at your convenience. During an in person viewing, I will have the most up to date market data for the neighbourhood and for that property, so you have all the inside information you need to make educated decisions. I will also point out desirable features, and potential “issues”, that a less experienced eye for real estate might otherwise miss.
When it comes time to make an offer, I will draft, present and negotiate the contract on your behalf. If you don’t have your own Realtor, you would have to deal directly with the seller’s Realtor, who is legally representing the sellers interests at the expense of yours.
Bottom line: Your own personal Realtor is there for you, every step of the way. They are your trained, experienced and connected guide in the marketplace; hired to protect your interests and make the purchase or sale of your property stress free.
